If a test is not successful we use what we have learnt when designing new tests or we can refine the test and run it again. For new tests ideas we conduct further research.
Business: High end fashion.
Test: Due to the high end nature of their products, the website offered AfterPay so users can pay in installments. However the payment option was not shown until the checkout.
Result: Displaying the AfterPay option and the installment amount near the price on the product page increased conversions. Especially via AfterPay.
Business: Jewellery and accessories.
Test: Many users had online enquiries about shipping times, as earrings were wanted for an event or birthday. Full shipping costs and timings were added to the product page under a toggle.
Result: Adding shipping information increased conversions with the added benefit of less online enquiries about shipping times.
Business: Scented candles and gifts.
Test: The client needed to increase Average Order Value to make shipping less costly. We used the Shopify API to create bundles that increase perceived value. Ideally we could increase AOV without a decrease in conversions.
Result: An increase in AOV and an increase in conversions was achieved.
